Abstract

Over 30 years ago, the cryoconservation procedure was introduced into assisted reproduction technology and has since been continuously improved. Vitrification, the ultra-rapid freezing of human oocytes, zygotes and embryos, is becoming more and more the method of choice. This paper presents the latest results, fertilization and pregnancy rates, after vitrification of different developmental stages using the cryotop method.
