Abstract
Marker-less optical tracking has been proposed to achieve robust target localization and sub-milimeter accuracy in cranial radiotherapy. Patterns of varying tissue thickness across the patient's forehead can be used as additional landmarks for point cloud registration. Here, we validate a ground truth for this information obtained from segmenting high resolution MRI scans.
