Abstract

This contribution discusses the concept of Tangicons, a non-competitive learning game with tangible programming cubes. Tangicons have been developed during the last years together with children within a co-design process. The aim of the game is to confront children of pre and primary schools with logical-abstract problems in the context of fineand gross-motor activities. On the basis of the third generation of Tangicons, the concept will be described in relation to the research field and to contemporary pedagogic approaches in detail. Findings from the evaluation lead to conclusions and discussions about the further investigation.
