Abstract

This article has been retracted: please see Elsevier Policy on Article Withdrawal (https://www.elsevier.com/about/our-business/policies/article-withdrawal). This article has been retracted at the request of the authors. The authors were informed that they were provided with an incorrect cell line for the establishment of their protocol. Specifically, the cell line HFF used in their work as a healthy control turned out to be derived from a female patient suffering from Osteogenesis Imperfecta and carries a heterozygous missense mutation (p.G700C) in Col1A2 that is most likely disease-causing (Coriell Institute for Medical Research (Camden, New Jersey); GM17602/GM17604). Meanwhile, the paper they cited as the source of their cell line was corrected by the authors (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/30517638).
