Abstract
Umbilical anomalies are a rare presentation in fetal and neonatal period. We report a case of a patent urachus with an allantoic cyst diagnosed prenatally at 14 weeks of gestation and its spontaneous course throughout ongoing pregnancy. Thoroughly ultrasound examination enabled comprehensive counselling of the parents and together with pediatricians and pediatric surgeons determining the appropriate postnatal surgical management.
