Abstract
Since summer 2006 it is possible to complete at the University of Luebeck a trimester of the practical year (PJ) in a general-practitioner practice. After three finished and further three current trimesters in the year 2006 the experiences of the students are positive and, in addition, among the participating practices, too. A further development of the possibilities up to at least 12 students a year is planned.
