Abstract
The ADF Round Table was established in 2014 in order to locally, that is within a federal state or region, foster scientific exchange among young scientists. The first ADF Round Table was held in Bad Wildbad in 2014, and in the following year, the second in Bad Sassendorf. Prompted by the enthusiastic feedback of the participants, the ADF was delighted to organize a third ADF Round Table, which was held in Bad Segeberg on 21st and 22nd October 2016. Here, 23 colleagues from Berlin, Hamburg, Kiel, Lübeck and Rostock met to discuss topics related to “Matrix meets Inflammation and DNA Repair” (Figure 1).
