Abstract
Glomus tumors are benign vascular neoplasms which originate from the neuromyoarterial part of the glomus bodies. Glomus tumors usually are solitary, painful nodules but also multiple glomus tumors can occur with segmental localisation or disseminated all over the body. The onset of glomus tumors is mostly during childhood. Congenital glomus tumors are very rare and only a few cases are reported in the literature. We report a 20 years old male with multiple, disseminated, congenital glomus tumors. Beside the histopathologic and immunhistological findings we describe the various types of treatment like surgery, sclerotherapy, cryosurgery and laser therapy and demonstrate the differential diagnosis of this very rare disease.
