Abstract
This review wants to take a look on incidence, relevance, pathophysiology and therapeutic options of cardiogenic shock complicating acute myocardial infarction. We will discuss on one hand the expansion in the pathologic concept of cardiogenic shock and take a look on the different therapeutic strategies and there evidence in literature.
