Abstract

The effect of colored noise on networks of nonlinear oscillators was studied. The noise induced pattern formation involving biochemical reactions and Lorenz system was discussed. The dependence of noise patterns on correlation time of exponentially correlated Gaussian noise was analyzed. The Lorenz system showed a higher degree of synchronization on increasing the correlation time in chaotic regime than in nonchaotic regime.
