Abstract

The rare indication for analplasty reconstruction according to Ferguson in a young man with HIV infection and a scarred closed anal canal after operative treatment and irradiation of an anal Burkitt lymphoma is reported. The surgical technique introduced by Ferguson and the results in the literature are described.
