Abstract

Stuttering is a fully individually based communication disorder. It is a complex task to assess, categorize and compare individual symptomatic aspects. There is only a small amount of standardized instruments in the German-speaking world and additionally uncertainties in the course of the multidimensional assessment complicate the situation. The necessity of guidelines in order to support the individual assessment report becomes clear.
