Abstract
Description: The aim of the project “interEdu” (concept development to enhance interprofessional education in vocational and academic nursing education) is to develop and pilot a longitudinal core curriculum for the training of competencies for interprofessional collaboration within the first cycle of nursing education in Germany. Since undergraduate nursing education takes place both at vocational and university levels in Germany, the curriculum has to target each of these two levels. Key elements of a longitudinal core curriculum will be identified based on results of a mixed-methods study (including standardized and qualitative interviews) and a literature review.
