Abstract
Insect bites can cause a variety of cutaneous reactions. We report on two patients with bullous reactions to insects. Bullae are most often caused by flea and mosquito bites. The exact pathogenesis is unclear. In some cases, the differential diagnosis is difficult and biopsies for histopathology and immunofluorescence may be necessary.
