Abstract

Subcutaneous masses, such as peripheral schwannomas, can pose diagnostic challenges. Due to their occurrence on the extremities, they can also be noticed in phlebological examinations or may even be the sole reason for a phlebological consultation. In cases of unusual findings that are not clearly identifiable through sonography, additional imaging using cross-sectional methods can be helpful. This article describes the approach in such a case.
