Abstract
Psoriasis vulgaris and atopic eczema are two T-cell-mediated chronic inflammatory skin diseases which often represent a therapeutic challenge in daily practice and adversely affect the quality of life of patients. As our knowledge of the pathogenesis of both diseases has expanded in recent years, innovative systemic therapies have been used at an increasing rate. In this review we present the current clinical developments in systemic therapies of these chronic inflammatory diseases.
