Project Details
Description
The aim of this study is to systematically quantify and analyze in detail the utilization behavior of patients with acute treatment needs in General Practioner`s (GP`s) practices. To this end, a measuring instrument is used to record the urgency of the reasons for treatment, the diagnoses, their complexity and the further course. This instrument will be used as part of a Germany-wide survey of GPs in order to collect comprehensive and representative data.
By analyzing this data, insights are to be gained into the frequency and reasons for the use of acute medical services in order to derive possible optimizations in outpatient care on this basis. This is a retrospective observation, as the data collected is patient data from treatment cases from June 2024.
