Scientific secretariat of the Association for the Promotion of Rehabilitation Research in Hamburg, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and Schleswig-Holstein

As a non-profit organization founded in Lübeck in 1994, the Association for the Promotion of Rehabilitation Research in Hamburg, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and Schleswig-Holstein (vffr) actively promotes rehabilitation research in Hamburg, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and Schleswig-Holstein and supports regional research initiatives focusing on medical and vocational rehabilitation. The scientific secretariat assists the voluntary executive board of the association in realizing its objectives. It coordinates and organizes various activities, including the lecture series "Reha-Innovationen in der Praxis" to gather innovations in healthcare and to present these a broader audience. Furthermore, the scientific secretariat organizes the biannual congress Reha-Symposium. In addition, the secretariat creates and publishes the quarterly newsletter "Rehab Science Spotlight" and provides evaluation and research consultation for interested members.
