Project Details
Description
The management of metadata and the formal specification of data elements is becoming increas-ingly important in a data-centric science such as Medical Informatics (MI). The continuation proposal of the NMDR project focuses on the development and adaptation of MI-specific metadata vocabularies, the adaptation of relevant standards and terminologies for the enrichment and refinement of data elements, and the bridging of research data management and FAIR data princi-ples. It builds on and complements the preliminary work of the first part, the development of collaborative methods, governance aspects and the prototypical implementation in a metadata repository. Finally, the proposal supports partners from other DFG/TMF call projects with expertise.
