    Die Selektion einer auditorischen Botschaft unter vielen konkurrierenden Botschaften stellt das Hörsystemvor eine komplexe Aufgabe. In dem Teilprojekt sollen zum einen die zeitlichen und räumlichanatomischenAspekte der neuralen Korrelate der Informationsselektion in einer Mehrsprechersituationmit Hilfe des multimodalen Neuroimaging (fMRI; ereigniskorrelierte Hirnpotenziale) charakterisiertwerden. Unter widrigen Umständen wird beim Sprachverstehen auch visuelle Informationherangezogen. Daher sollen zum anderen die neuralen Korrelate dieser audiovisuellen Integrationanalysiert/dargestellt werden.
