Every year, the university honors special commitment to good university teaching and the training of young academics with the University Teaching Award. In 2024, Dr. Holger Maurer and Stefan Westfechtel from the Department of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care Medicine received this award for the elective subject “Emergency Medicine and Emergency Ambulance Internship”.
