Scientific Focus
Dr. Tibor Szikszay's research interests include endogenous pain modulation, in particular the phenomenon of offset analgesia, and the mechanisms of acute and chronic pain. He works with experimental pain models to investigate physiotherapeutic interventions, particularly in manual therapy, and to understand their mechanisms of action.
