Scientific Focus

Svenja Denker graduated in Molecular Life Science at the University of Lübeck in 2022. During her studies, she developed a keen interest in oncology as well as in data analysis and bioinformatics. She did her Master’s thesis in the research group on Bioinformatics at the Max Planck Institute for Evolutionary Biology in Plön under the supervision of Professor Dr. Bernhard Haubold.

Since 2023 she has been working with the Medical System Biology Group of Prof. Dr. Busch where she mainly focuses on analyzing sequencing data from cancer projects.
