Scientific Focus
Olga Stavrova received a Ph.D. from the University of Cologne (Germany) in 2012. Before joining the University of Lübeck, she has worked as Associate Professor at the University of Tilburg (Netherlands). She now holds the position of Professor of Psychological Health at the Department of Psychology (IPSY I) at the University of Lübeck.
Olga studies psychological well-being and health, cynicism and trust, and social relationships. She uses a variety of methodological approaches, including online- and lab-experiments, cross-national surveys, longitudinal and intensive longitudinal designs, dyadic and linguistic analyses, and Big Data.
Olga's work has been distinguished with the Rising Star Award from the Association of Psychological Science and is featured in many media outlets, including articles in the Harvard Business Review, the Times, Huffington Post and more.
