Scientific Focus
In meiner Arbeitsgruppe werden die grundlegenden Mechanismen kontrollierter nichtlinearer Energiedeponierung in transparenten Medien mittels ultrakurzer Laserpulse erforscht. Die systematische Variation von Wellenlänge, Pulsdauer, und Fokussierungswinkel der Laserstrahlung liefert dabei neue Erkenntnisse mit große Bedeutung für die Materialbearbeitung, die Laserchirurgie am Auge und die Nanochirurgie an Zellen. Das aktuelle Forschungsgebiet gliedert sich momentan in die beiden Unterpunkte:
