Nancy Ernst studied Molecular Biotechnology at the TU Dresden (B.Sc.) and Molecular Life Science at the University of Lübeck (M.Sc.). She completed her dissertation in the field of β1 integrin-mediated signaling on human epithelial progenitor cells within human skin and hair follicles.
After her research period in the immune dermatology, she started to work in Prof. Ludwigs group for identifying new therapeutic targets for the treatment of AIBDs.
In 2015, UN member states agreed to 17 global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to end poverty, protect the planet and ensure prosperity for all. This person’s work contributes towards the following SDG(s):
