About us
IFIS is concerned with the representation, storage, and retrieval of any kind of data for building information systems. Main research activities are centered around logical and probabilistical foundations of data modeling, efficient storage and retrieval of data, development of inference and query answering techniques for huge amounts of data as well as the automatic generation of data representations, e.g., from large networks such as the Web.
