Organisation profile

About us

We conduct in vivo analysis of infectious, allergic and inflammatory pocesses and focus on barrier organs, such as skin, lungs and intestine. We also try to uncover basic functions of the immune system, for example T-cell migration, T-cell memory and the range of T-cell-receptors.

Our expertise in ulstrastructural tissue analysis is available for all other institutions of the University of Luebeck.

UN Sustainable Development Goals

In 2015, UN member states agreed to 17 global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to end poverty, protect the planet and ensure prosperity for all. Our work contributes towards the following SDG(s):

  • SDG 3 - Good Health and Well-being
