About us

Research is an essential building block of the Department of Neurology. Our research focusses on the neural basis of cognitive, social and affective processes, as well as on sensorimotor systems and neurobiochemistry. Our research groups use methods that range from animal research and experimental neurochemistry to functional and structural magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), electroencephalography (EEG), transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) and videooculography, to name a few.
