Migraines are the most common headache disorder, affecting more than 1 billion people worldwide. Even though the causes of migraines are still unclear, there are indications that our metabolism, in particular the energy metabolism in the brain, could play an important role in the development of migraine attacks. Prof. Christian Sina, Head of the Institute of Nutritional Medicine, makes the connection between nutrition and the prevention of migraine attacks in this new episode of ProphyLabs by UKSH.
