Abstract
Aim: People who work in childcare centres, nurseries and other care facilities for children are at risk of infectious diseases. The aim of this work is to ascertain the vaccination status of childcare workers in training and identify target groups for vaccination campaigns in this setting. Methods: Altogether 58 childcare workers at a vocational school for social welfare services were questioned about their health behaviour, including their vaccination status in relation to selected illnesses and their attitude towards vaccination (participation rate 88%).
