Abstract
We thank Melanson and Chen for this lively discussion demonstrating their high interest in our work. However, since we explicitly explained our approach and its underlying consideration in our first response to their letter to the editor (1), we now would like to refer to this and leave it to the scientific readership of The Journal of Clinical Endocrinology and Metabolism to decide which argumentation they prefer to follow.
