Thus, they will be confronted with the question, who should be treated with these new drugs. That's why, specialists should discuss the indications for an 'anti-craving' medication in time. According to the presented proposal 'anti-craving' drugs should be only prescribed to alcoholics clearly motivated for abstinence as well as therapy. Furthermore, they should have complained about craving in the context of relapses in the past.
