Erste ergebnisse zur effektivität eines intensiven und hochfrequent repetitiven benenn- und konversations-trainings bei aphasie

ntensive speech training with daily exercises of several hours over a period of several weeks is a prerequisite for effective aphasia therapy. Furthermore, a frequent repetition of the language stimuli used during training is required to achieve long-term stability of the language memory representations. Both aspects can be realised most effectively by associative learning. The present, still ongoing study aims at the evaluation of an intensive repetitive training procedure in fluent and non-fluent aphasic patients with word finding difficulties. The short- and long-term results of the first five patients convincingly demonstrate the efficacy and stability of a combined intensive and repetitive language learning approach.
