Abstract

Neurocytomas with atypical histology or high proliferation activity are named atypical. All reported cases were reviewed. After incomplete resection, radiotherapy improved local-control (P<0.001) and survival (P=0.02). Doses (EQD2) >54 Gy were associated with better 5-year local control (84% versus 55%, P=0.05) and 5-year-survival (84% versus 65%, P=0.18) than doses ≤54 Gy.
